The Design of the Sixth Hackathon for Change

As one of the largest hackathons in Canada, DeltaHacks brings together over 800 of the tech world’s most creative, enthusiastic and passionate students to McMaster University for a phenomenal weekend - 36 hours of hacking on all platforms to create hundreds of groundbreaking projects from scratch. Whatever their focus may be - healthcare, education, environment, accessibility - students strive to create a positive impact through their ideas and projects. As an organizer of the event and a part of the design team - our goal was to create products that follow the DeltaHacks brand and empower hacking for positive change to people around the world over the course of 8 months. We created a system that was consistent and encouraged creativity amongst all of our team members and below is just some of the highlights of our incredible journey being a part of the DeltaHacks team.
